Professional Practice:

Bill Robinson has over thirty seven years of transactional experience in domestic and international law practice, and specializes in international business law. He has lived in Japan and Russia, and since 1990 has worked with over 150 clients and projects in eight republics of the former Soviet Union and many regions of Russia. Bill advises clients on how to structure business operations in Russia and other countries, and how to manage legal issues related to international trade and investment. His international practice as relates to Russia is equally divided between representing Russian-owned companies, and Western or Asian companies doing business in Russia. Representative clients are in energy, technology, oil field services, mining, fishing, forest products, port development, transportation, engineering and construction. Bill has been active with various committees of the Russian American Pacific Partnership since 1995, and served as American Co-chair of the Fisheries, Legal and Economic Sectors. He is a frequent speaker at conferences on corporate governance, rule of law, and other issues related to doing business in Russia.

Bill Robinson is a graduate of the University of Washington School of Law (Juris Doctor, 1973), and Whitworth College, (B.A. International Relations, 1970).
