Victor M. Mendiola Lau
Mr. Mendiola Lau has several years of experience in software, web development and in other fields of Information Technology. He also teaches Mathematics at the University of Havana, and he is an online student and admirer of economist Milton Friedman.
As software connoisseur, he has worked in several facets of software development for clients in Canada, Chile, Mexico and Spain.
Mr. Mendiola Lau has worked as an engineer and a researcher to build Pattern Recognition Systems as well as Machine Learning and Data Analysis. His research also encompassed Biometrics, classification and clustering of Spectral Data.
Currently, Mr. Mendiola Lau is an Assistant Professor at the University of Havana, as well as a software engineer for private clients. He lives with his family in Havana and has met with PNWA’s Senior Advisor, Latin America, during the latter’s recent visit to Cuba.
Mr. Mendiola Lau is fluent in English, Spanish and French.
